In August of 1988 Jim Green realized his dream and goal of becoming a business owner and U.S. Metals, Inc. was formed. His courage, dedication, honesty, and so much hard work has made U.S. Metals, Inc. survive. Fast forward to 2018….after establishing the U.S. Metals reputation he has decided to sell his shares, fully retire and turn full responsibility and ownership over to his son Jamie, establishing him as President / CEO.
In 1995, Jamie came aboard after attending Southern lllinois University in Carbondale, Illinois, where he studied business, bringing with him new ideas and energy to grow the company.
In 2012, Jamie was the driving force in adding an eight thousand square foot warehouse addition with a second loading dock to the already existing sixteen thousand square foot building and purchasing equipment to expedite quality performance.
Jamie has continued to meet the challenge and the company has prospered and grown to be a major recycler and distributor of quality steel shot and steel grit in today’s market.
